DescriptionIn 1935, Alfred Mure enlarged the estate by the 12-hectare Clos Saint Landelin, recognizing its potential - now it is a piece of land considered one of the best in the whole of Alsace. He took advantage of its ideal insolation and shelter from the rain and began to use terraces to facilitate fruit harvesting. Soon, wines signed with the Mure name became widely appreciated and desired.

Tasting NotesAn oaky aroma dukes it out with achingly fresh red cherries and dill sprigs on the nose of this wine. Tannins are smooth and velvety. It's only in the wine's staying power that they take on a slightly more grippy quality. Green coffee, black pepper and dill add up to a wine that's uncharacteristically savory but utterly lovely and epicurean.
